Community Surveys

It takes a village, and we want to make sure ours works for everyone. Building a thriving community starts with listening to the people who call it home, and we truly want to hear from you.

The assessments below help us understand your daily needs, the resources that matter most to your household, and the passions you are eager to share.

Whether you are looking for support, excited to lend a hand, or bringing bold ideas for our shared future, your voice shapes the path forward. Thank you for taking a few moments to make a difference in our village.

Your Voice Matters

The WOMB Initiative was born when mothers sought an alternative path for birth support during COVID. Faced with strict hospital restrictions that prohibited anyone, including their partners, from attending labor, they looked outside hospital walls. In partnering with a local home birth midwife, they encountered prenatal care redefined: unhurried visits lasting an hour or more, paired with balanced evidence to help them make confident, informed decisions.

These mothers felt strongly that every woman deserves this caliber of education, respect, and community as they prepare for birth and motherhood. At every step, WOMB has answered the community’s call.

When mothers needed a dignified, comfortable space to nurse and tend to their little ones at public events, we created the Nursing Nook and Changing Space. And when local doulas asked for connection, collaboration, and consultation, WOMB stepped forward to bring birth workers together in mutual support through the Doula Collective.

Motherhood doesn't happen in isolation, especially in a world that changes by the day. Our goal is to offer meaningful, responsive support for mothers of every background, while embracing the fathers, partners, and caregivers who make up the vital village around every family. We cannot grow without your guidance. Please choose the survey that fits you best below and lend your voice to our shared future.

Help us envision our new home

As the Women of the Mountains Birth Initiative (WOMB) celebrates five years of serving our region, we are beginning to plan our next chapter: the Womb Home: a dedicated, community-centered haven for learning, rest, and connection for growing families and birth workers alike.

We want to design this space around your real-life needs. Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts on what this space should feel like and the programs you would value most.

Honoring the transition: menopause support

The closing of the menstruating chapter marks a profound new beginning. As we prepare to launch a dedicated support circle for perimenopausal and menopausal women, your voice is essential. Tell us what care and guidance you would value most in this sacred phase.
