About the Subject-Expert:

Owner of As it Was Midwifery Services located in Littleton, NH, Natanya Champney is a New Hampshire Certified Midwife who has been serving the women and families of Northern NH for the past 16 years and has guided about 280 babies into the world so far! She completed her studies at Birthwise Midwifery School in Bridgton, Maine, in 2008 and has dedicated her career to supporting families across the North Country ever since.

“I believe that birth is inherently a natural and normal function of the body. Women deserve to have the education and resources they need to have the birth of their child in the place they find most safe. My role as the midwife is to educate, inform, and facilitate the journey of pregnancy and childbirth for each individual and partnership.” – Natanya

Offering Holistic Perinatal & Home Birth services in the North Country of New Hampshire

Midwives have traditionally cared for all pregnant and birthing women worldwide up until just a few hundred years ago, and in many parts of the world, midwives remain primary caregivers for birth. For those considering it, home birth is a comfortable and safe option, allowing families to welcome their babies in a familiar environment. Natanya is honored to support women who choose home birth, guiding them with expertise, compassion, and respect for their individual needs.
