Spiritual Midwifery Book Club RSVP Required

Join us for The Women of the Mountains Birth Initiative (WOMB) virtual book club—a welcoming space for mothers, caregivers, and community members to gather, reflect, and build connection through shared stories. We will read and discuss Spiritual Midwifery by Ina May Gaskin.

We’ll begin virtually to make participation accessible across the North Country and beyond, with final reflections during the birth story circle following the September 19th documentary screening.

Come as you are. Bring your lived experience, your questions, and your hope for a village that truly shows up.

This form does ask what the best times and dates are, but from the feedback we have already received, we have selected a series of 3 Wednesdays at noon: 7/29, 8/26, and 9/16. We have several copies of the book available at the office to purchase or take out through the lending library-if you need financial assistance please indicate that below.
