About the event
Class will be taught by Midwife Natanya Champney who has been helping women in childbirth for over 16 yrs.
- Part 1: Your amazing body!! Learn what is happening as you approach labor and the amazing hormones that help. Learn about optimal fetal positioning, stages of labor, how to track labor, and what to do during early labor.
- Part 2: The nuts and bolts! How to have a blissful experience. We will be looking at comfort measures, birth-planning and informed choice, having a doula, possible interventions and what to expect in the immediate postpartum.
- Part 3: Becoming new parents! In this class we will discuss what the postpartum period is like. Topics like diapers, babywearing, breastfeeding, and more will be discussed as well as a chance to ask any other buring questions.
Class fee is a suggested donation of $30 to the WOMB initiative.
Class will take place at 255 Main Street Littleton, NH.
