Pop-up Nursing Nook

Coming June 2024!

Become a sponsor!

The Women of the Mountains Birth Initiative is excited to be designing a pop-up privacy tent to offer a place for mothers to breastfeed/change their babies/toddlers while enjoying local community events that do not have capacity to offer such a space. WOMB’s Pop-up “Nursing Nook” will help us achieve our mission by helping create a village of women supporting women while traveling to community events across Northern Grafton & Coos Counties, and surrounding VT communities, starting summer of 2024.

We invite you to be a Co-Sponsor or Supporter of WOMB’s Pop-up Nursing Nook! As a leader in the community, your involvement with the nursing nook project is an opportunity to receive exposure and to join other individuals, organizations, and coalitions in our community to educate mothers and families about pregnancy, birth, labor & delivery, the postpartum, breastfeeding, and an array of other topics along the continuum of women’s health, while also promoting compassionate connection and community. WOMB is eager to leverage this project to create and strengthen collaborative partnerships across the North Country of NH and Northeast Kingdom of VT, making sure to reach women from all walks of life.

Furthermore, community sponsors are the primary source of funding for managing this project and will help ensure its success. You can provide support in the following ways:

  • Be a Co-Sponsor or Event Supporter through a monetary donation. Your company logo will be placed on materials to promote the Nursing Nook, including the privacy pop-up tent sponsor wall.

  • Donate nursing nook supplies (portable chairs, pillows, blankets, diapers, wipes, trash bags, etc.)

  • Participate on our planning committee and/or volunteer at an event.

  • Sponsor or host an event for the Nursing Nook to attend at your facility.

  • Provide information to clients or patrons about the WOMB Initiative’s offerings.
